Academy Divisions

HIBA includes a Youth Division (for ages 8 to 12) and a Pre-Professional Division (for ages 12 and up).

The Youth Division has two levels with 3 progressive sessions. Students may not skip a session if they want to remain at their level or progress to the next level. techniques exams will be given and requirements must be met to move into the next level.

Session 1: September 2 through November 22, 2008
Session 2: January 3 through March 7, 2009
Session 3: April 4 through May 30, 2009

The Pre-Professional Division is reserved for the serious and dedicated dancer. Students must attend the Academy year round and all classes in their level must be taken. Students in these levels are mentored for professional level companies.
