Parks and Recreation Ballet

The Children's Division is for the young student and beginners ages 3 through 6 years old. This division includes two class levels:

Pre Ballet classes introduce the very young student to the basic requirements of future ballet classes.
Students will learn basic skills in preparation for Ballet 1. These skills include stretching, basic foot and arm positions, simple steps, and classroom etiquette for listening and learning.

Ballet 1 classes prepare yound students toward further technical ballet training. Students will learn
basic barre and center floor exercises, simple terminology, and musicality. Students entering Ballet 1 must be at least 5 years old or have had at least one semester of Pre-Ballet.
