Programs

The Houston International Ballet Academy offers three divisions of programs.

The Children's Division is also a Parks and Recreation Ballet Program for the city of League City. This division includes beginning classes for children ages 3 through 8 years old.

The Youth Division is the Academy's formative years for students ages 8 through 10 years old. In this division the students begin to focus on technique through the Vagonova syllabus.

The Pre-Professional Division is for upper intermediate and advanced level students, focusing on strengthing their technique and articulating movement. First year Vagonova students usually enter around the age of 9-11 years old and continue training for the next 6 to 8 years.

The Academy also offers seasonal workshops and summer intensive programs.

Other classes offered by the Academy include Adult Ballet and social dancing. These classes are taught by areas local instructors and are subject to limited time periods.
