Programs

The Houston International Ballet Academy offers three divisions of ballet programs.

The Children's Division is also a Parks and Recreation Ballet Program for the City of League City. This division includes intoductory and beginning classes for children ages 3 through 6 years old.

The Youth Division is the Academy's formative training years for students ages 7 through 12 years old. In this division the students begin to focus on technique through the Vagonova method and syllabus.

The Pre-Professional Division is for upper intermediate and advanced level students, focusing on strengthening their technique and articulating movement and artistry. This level is for the dedicated dancer interested in furthering technique and artistry for pursuits of a professional career or University/College scholarship.

The Academy also offers Adult Ballet taught by Mr. John Ruth.

Other ballet classes offered by the Academy include Master classes and workshops. These classes are taught by national and international renowned instructors and may be subject to audition requirements. Please call the Academy for current information about these classes.
